Christmas craft! Christmas craft After all the food and gift-giving, Christmas craft is definitely my favourite part of the holiday season. It’s a chance to let out your inner kitsch, delve into your craft supplies and spread some Christmas cheer through making! So today, I’m sharing my DIY mini washi tape Christmas banner! Isn’t it adorable? Next week, I’ll be sharing some different uses for this little beauty but for now, let’s make it!
– Washi tape
– A4 paper + printer
– Baker’s twine
First, print out this template onto an A4 piece of paper. Then cover the letters with washi-tape!
Once all your letters are covered, cut them out following the grey printed lines. Fold the letters in half to attack those inner-gaps and for any that you can’t reach by folding (like on the As and Rs) you can either just leave them to create a nice block-font look or use fine pointed scissors to snip them out.
Then simply fold the letters in half and stick them on the twine! You want to only glue the bottom three quarters and leave some room around the string so the letters can be arranged and pushed along.
Now your little banner is ready to be strung up! Remember to check back in next week when I share some fun Christmassy uses for this DIY!
